What do you think about the new video games coming out? Does a sequel have to follow in the previous franchise's footsteps?

  1. The reason most games force a sequel out that is awful (ex. Elder scrolls online.) Leaves fans upset and the feeling of being cheated, so in conclusion. Sequels are great if done well. But sequels' that fail lose customers and die.

  2. Lot of companies are getting really good ideas into new games. However, there are some inappropriate games which I think should be taken away. It really impacts students negatively on their education. A sequel should follow the previous games so the story makes sense and it wont make any fans sad.

  3. I think it does because it continues a story of a game?

  4. I believe that video games don't have to follow in their previous game's footsteps. This is because if you make a video games series too long, it would become very bleak. The fact that there are so many games that feel exactly like the previous game out there proves my point. If a gaming series is dying, you could consider developing a new game that would attract attention from your loyal fans.
